CALLIGRAPHY BOOTCAMP

Vouchers for the first ever calligraphy bootcamp are £175 and include all tools, inks, and materials needed as well as a practice book to take home and complete your homework in. It includes 4 sets of homework after each class, weekly checkins and help and 4 in person classes lasting two hours each at my home in Monton. All refreshments and warm cookies/baked goods will be as standard!

Class 1 - 4th March 2025: Introduction to calligraphy and the nib and ink. Learning how to apply and release pressure as and when needed. Working our way through beginner strokes and the alphabet. Homework given to practice between lessons!

Class 2 - 18th March 2025: Working on joining letters and words by practicing phrases and quotes. Learning different ways to connect letters and different styles of calligraphy, in the quest to create your own unique modern scribe.Homework issued!

Class 3 - 1st April 2025: Playing around with flourishing and testing different nibs and inks. Working on a larger scale to frame and hang your first finished piece of calligraphy artwork in your home.

Class 4 - 15th April 2025: Free choice with my support. Choose to establish your own alphabet, work on more art pieces, write letters and envelopes or have a go at faux calligraphy (used for working on alternative surfaces with pens) or brush lettering!
